Shatford Building
Penticton, 2010
The replacement of the original Penticton High School left this building without use and slated for demolition. A citizens’ campaign to save the building and refurbish it for civic uses was successful, and the Shatford Building has become a focal point for the community, the permanent home for the Okanagan School of the Arts and anchor for the South end of Main Street.
