Summerland RCMP

Summerland, 2012

This community police station is structured as three parallel bars.  A south-facing strip concentrates all work stations and staff areas where they have access to daylight and opening windows. Fixed sun shades protect from overheating and solar glare. A central strip contains all service rooms.  The public entrance and cell block are on the north side, well insulated and clad with rusted Corten steel.
